Refund policy

We have a 21-day return policy, which means you have 21 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at artifexsupport@artifexleather.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 521 S. El Paso St. El Paso, Texas 79901 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

Buyers may exchange for a different size and/or item within 21 days from the original arrival date. Items must be in new, original unworn condition, items with signs of wear or damage (to include return shipping damage) are NOT eligible for exchange. 

Exchanges must be shipped in original box & packaging and should be taped closed before shipping. If packaging has been lost or damaged, use a study box big enough for the item(s), envelopes not recommended. Do not fold belts/straps & not use rubber bands, zip ties, tape or other items around/direct contact with the belt/strap as this may result in damage to the belt/strap.

Buyer is responsible for all exchange shipping costs associated to getting the item(s) back to Artifex Leather Works. 

Limit one exchange per order. Customer can request a second, final exchange, approval by the Artifex Leather Works support team is required and customer is responsible for ALL shipping costs associated with a second exchange. 

If there is a price difference between the item(s) you initially purchased and the item(s) you wish to exchange for an invoice for the difference will be emailed to the customer and will submit payment via Artifexleather.com. Refunds will be issued for the difference when the item(s) initially purchased is more than the cost of the requested exchange item(s). Artifex Leather does not take payment information over the phone, email or written correspondence. Support members of the Artifex Leather Works team will never ask you for payment information. 


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days minus a up to 10% restocking fee. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
